Have Got Kullanımı: Sahiplik Bildirme

Bir şeye sahip olduğunu söylemenin günlük yolu have got / has got. "Bir arabam var", "iki kız kardeşim var" gibi cümleler için kullanılır. Anlamı have ile aynıdır ama özellikle konuşma dilinde çok yaygındır.

"I've got two sisters." = İki kız kardeşim var. "She's got a new job." = Onun yeni bir işi var.

Türkçedeki "var" (benim … var) mantığına çok yakındır.

İkisi de "sahip olmak" demektir. Farkları:

have got	have (do/does ile)
I**'ve got** a car.	I have a car.

He hasn't got a car.	He doesn't have a car.

İkisini karıştırma: ya baştan sona "have got" ya da baştan sona "have + do/does".
